Gasolina is located in South Wharf (Southbank) in Melbourne. We are a multi-function automotive themed Restaurant & Event Venue formed from a collective passion to create moving and culinary works of art that inspire and fuel the soul. Gasolinas mantra is Raw Custom Culture, and this can be seen and felt in our amazing restaurant, bar, & design studio. We also host private & corporate events for up to 300 people, or smaller intimate occasions in a private dining room setting.

Our restaurant offers a New York bistro style atmosphere with the best in American style dishes, and using top quality ingredients cooked by our team and headed up by our Executive chef and TV personality, Wylie Dean.

Our studio was created by Carl Cerra who has roots in design and prototyping for companies such as General Motors, Audi, BMW and many more, spanning 20 years of experience. Our studio holds regular classes in design and fabrication for the educated, historians, or enthusiasts. Its worth noting that we love all creativity and are not restricted to our own culture or subculture.

Our social or corporate function room is a 3 tier venue, enjoying the pristine and engaging atmosphere of Melbournes iconic Yarra river walkway, with live entertainment and bustling activity all around. We host all types of events, entertaining our guests with the following rooms:

1) Our Workshop room, showing a collection of unique and individual creations of art, and supporting 150 guests, or 80 sit-down guests.
2) Our Lounge which looks over the Workshop and includes a bar, stage, projector screen, dance floor, lights and sound system. Supporting 150 guests in one of the best corporate function venues in Southbank.
3) Our Dining Hall provides access to our bar, projector screen and stage, and can accommodate 120 sit-down guests. Specialising in one off custom vintage bobbers and restaurant serving rustic and refined cuisine based around a wood fired oven.
4) Or you could book our entire venue to host 300 guests with some or all of the above features at your disposal.
